Jen Mei Chung is an independent artist that works with a wide range of mediums, from acrylic, watercolors, color pencils, to ink drawings and illustrations. She focuses on animal or culinary as subjects of her art.
Born in Taiwan, she started her career as a pharmacist, before moving the United States in 1985. From there, she worked as lab technician before quitting to take a long sabbatical. In the mid 90's, she finished her degree in accounting and passed the CPA to become a fully certified accountant, where she worked for the rest of her formal career.
Throughout this time, she had been experimenting with various art forms on the side. This exploration culminated in an explosion of artistic exploration after retirement to refine both technique and concept.
